E. Carrara & Sons

Sorting through some hard drives and came across a commission from a few years back that I've not posted here. This was for the Christmas edition of the Seven Streets Almanac in 2013.

E. Carrara's make and repair religious statues, they're a family run business based in Kensington, Liverpool.

A friend was working in The Flute on Hardman Street, she introduced me to a work colleague one day who told me about their family business in Elm Vale. I needed an excuse to go and photograph them. The Almanac were putting together their Christmas edition, I pitched the story to them and they ran with it.

Trackbed

I spent a couple of months working on a commission for Metal Liverpool. Trackbed is a new composition and sound installation developed by electronic music duo Darkstar, in collaboration with Harthhill Youth Centre in Wavertree. I documented the sessions and photographs were used on the promotion material. The installation is on display until  21st September and then a live music performance is premiering at Edge Hill on 27th September. You can read an interview with Darstar about the project here.
